Feature Overview

The Pop-up note feature displays a note or text block as a pop-up when a document is opened or created. It works in combination with Text blocks and Document inheritance, and provides real-time information to the user.

This feature is particularly useful for alerts or reminders related to specific customers, products, or transactions.

Feature Details

• Pop-up notes are triggered only during synchronous inheritance
• The note or text block must be linked to a Document type with class “Simple note”
• Supports displaying inherited messages during actions such as creating a new sales order

For example, a note linked to a customer can appear as a pop-up during sales order creation, informing the user of specific instructions or warnings.

Pop-up notes are configured using the same setup as Document inheritance, specifically using the Notification type set to Pop-up and ensuring:
