    Anonymous register users

    In order to receive cash payments a Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations user needs to be linked to a register. This register user is often an anonymous Active Directory user.

    The user can be linked to a register via the menu item Register user on the register.

    A register can only be linked to one user and the prerequisite is that this user should not have a person (worker) linked to itself. The idea is that the worker (sales taker) will log on to the register.

    When a register is linked to the user and the store is of the reference type call center, this user is automatically removed from existing call centers and added to the call center of this store.

    Named store users

    For named users you have to link a user to a store.

    On this user you have to setup a person (worker) and the address book on this worker determines to which stores they can be linked. An error message will appear if there is a mismatch between the address books of the selected store and the worker on the user.

    When linking the store to the user, this user is also linked the user to the call center automatically when the store reference type is call center.
