In this topic the parameters from Tender Management will be explained.
Tender Management > Settings > General Settings
The parameter form Tender Management Settings contains the tabs General, Risk Management and Tender Portals and can be accessed via the app Tender Management in the Settings area.

Name | This is the name of the parameter record and will be defaulted automatically. |
Manual Set Counting Opportunity |
If there are several opportunities for the same tender, it might be that only one opportunity is the counting opportunity. This is for instance if the opportunities in the same tender are alternatives, like a road from asphalt or from concrete. Only one alternative will be executed and counts for the forecast of the revenues. In this case the setting should be "No". The other possibility is that all opportunities in the tender will be executed. In that case the parameter setting is "Yes". |

The maximum score for a risk can be entered here. Only numeric values with a maximum of two digits can be entered here.It is also possible to change the value by using the + or - button. |

The maximum weighting factor for a risk can be entered here. Only numeric values with a maximum of two digits can be entered here. It is also possible to change the value by using the + or - button. |
Auto Create Opportunity Risks | Should the existing Risk Categories and Risks be copied to the Opportunity. The advance is you don't have to select the individual risks and there is always a checklist of all risks. |
Auto Create Quote Risks | Should the existing Risk Categories and Risks be copied to the Quotes. The advance is you don't have to select the individual risks and there is always a checklist of all risks. If the answer is no the next settings on this form can't be changed. |
Copy Risks From Opportunity | Should Risks of a new Quote be copied from the Opportunity that is the base for the Quote. |
On Revise Quote |
What to do with the generation risks if a Quote has a revision. Do nothing: no risks are generated to the Revision. Create new Risks: generate new risks without copying them from existing Quotes or previous Revisions. Copying from Previous Version: Copy the Risks from a latest Quote Revision. Copy Risks from Opportunity: Copy the risks from the opportunity that was connected to the Quote. |
Information from Tenders might be copied from Tender Portals. At the moment Tender Management can be connected to the Portals TED Europa and TenderNed.
Field | Description |
Generate Opportunity | Some data from the tender portal, like the Account fits to the Opportunity in stead of the Tender itself. That is why it is possible to generate an Opportunity automatically if the Tender is connected with the Portal. This will happen if this parameter is set to Yes only. The automatic generation of the Opportunity can take a few minutes. During that time it is possible to continue to work, but the Opportunity is not visible yet. |
TenderNet | TenderNed is a Dutch Tender Portal. |
Active | The connection is supported only if this parameter is set to Yes. If this parameter is set to No there is no connection with TenderNed. |
URL | The URL of TenderNed. |
TED Europa | TED Europa is a Tender Portal from the European Union. Tenders from many countries in- and outside the EU can be found here. |
Active | The connection is supported only if this parameter is set to Yes. If this parameter is set to No there is no connection with TED Europe. |
URL | The URL of TED Europa. |
