In the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations form Price details (Sales order > Sales order lines > Sales order line > Price details) , shows information about applied prices and discounts from trade agreements and or retail discounts.

Within Dynamics Price and Margin Management the price adjustments are used as base for the determination of the applied cost price and margin alerts.

To give more meaning full information about which retail discount agreement has been applied our solution also shows the Discount name, Discount concurrency mode and discount type.

The fields price in price unit have been added to the Detail, Trade agreements, Potential trade agreements and Price adjustment tab.

Restore Retail discount lines

In case retail discount lines were delete the information in the retail discounts tab of the price details form are not shown anymore. Before Microsoft introduced the price locked feature on the sales order and sales quotation lines this was not a big problem. Today however discounts on the order lines are set to 0 when these records do not exist and a locked line is being recalculated.

To prevent this two new menu items have been added to the solution which can help restoring these records:

When executing a record will be created for all selected order lines which do have a line discount but no record in the table RetailSalesDiscountLine or RetailSalesQuotationDiscount line:

• A field called origin will be filled with the value "Restored"
• The discount amount will be filled with line discount amount and divided by the price quantity
• Amount will be filled with the discount amount multiplied with the sales quantity
