In standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations it possible to add charges automatically to purchase orders, sales orders and sales quotations. Charges can be added on line level based on quantity, percentage of the line value or a fixed amount (Accounts Payable/Receivable > Setup > Charges setup).
In the Price and Margin Management solution the standard field category in the Automatic charges on line level has been extended with the following options:
On the released product(tab Manage inventory) the values are expressed in one inventory unit. Based on the quantity ordered, the order unit, inventory unit and the unit conversions the system will calcualate the total volume/weight of the order line and multiplies it with the value setup in the auto charges.
